Base grinding and structure grinding on the belt grinding machine - the new Vario belt technology makes it possible. The specially developed ceramic grinding belts achieve an optimized gliding behaviour of the skis and boards - comparable to the results from stone grinding.

Service workshops usually use a stone grinding machine to pre-grind and structure skis and boards. The reason for this is that a grinding stone can be used to create a much smoother base surface than a conventional grinding belt. A structural grinding with the belt is simply not possible with conventional grinding belts.

Revolutionary grinding technology

The Vario grinding belts specially developed by Reichmann are therefore a small revolution in ski service. For the first time, comparable grinding results to stone grinding can be achieved with a ceramic grinding belt.

The "ready-to-use" ceramic grinding belts are available in different versions. The basic belt is ideal for pre-grinding and creates a fibre-free coating that offers optimal conditions for the subsequent structure grinding. The special pre-grinding belt is offering an even higher removal and is the ideal choice for producers. Stone-like structures for skis and snowboards can be produced in high quality with the structure belt. In this way, even convex and concave snowboards can be optimally structured. The combined Vario belt is a two-part belt for pre-grinding and finishing skis. This saves you time and effort for a belt change between the work steps.

The use of Vario belts is particularly cost-effective compared to stone grinding. By structuring with the belt, you reduce your stone consumption and save on material costs. The Vario belts can be used in both the Reichmann Profi B Vario and the Profi 4 Vario. With just one machine you can cover three work steps - edge grinding, pre-grinding and finish grinding.
